H-Bridges team in the IFEC2026 final

H-Bridges has achieved outstanding success by advancing to the finals of the IEEE International Future Energy Challenge (IFEC), held in conjunction with the IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference.

The semifinal round took place on March 22 in San Antonio, USA. During this stage, team members presented the progress of their solution to an international expert jury, competing against 12 top-tier teams from around the world, including participants from the United States, China, India, South Korea, Germany, Poland, Brazil, and other countries.

This year’s IFEC finals will be hosted in Belgium at KU Leuven, where final solutions developed by student teams from across the globe will be tested under both laboratory and real-world conditions. The challenge focuses on designing a bidirectional charger for electric vehicles, addressing the growing demand for innovative solutions in renewable energy, electric mobility, and energy storage systems.

The H-Bridges team continues to work intensively on further developing their project and is preparing for the final stage of the competition, which will take place in Belgium from July 13 to 17, where they will present the final version of their solution.
