Meter&Control has a long background in smart metering technology. The company stems from an early research of PLC technology conducted at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade in 1980’s by a team of engineers who devised one of the world’s first PLC modems, thus becoming pioneers in Automatic Meter Reading technology. Through the establishing of Meter&Control, this innovative project began its rapid commercial expansion followed by development of smart metering portfolio. Committed to continuous improvement and serving the market with up-to-date solutions, they are consistently investing resources in four key components: standardization, quality, research&development and support. Meter&Control has a state-of-the-art R&D center, part of their integrated facility, which includes adopting and implementing new ideas and technologies, simulating real world environmental conditions and different network topologies, routine performance and reliability testing and internal and final verification. Meter&Control was the first private company in Serbia to become authorized body for meter verification. The verification department operates as an independent subsidiary of the company offering services to third parties.  

Typhoon HIL is a company that, since 2008, has successfully developed a globally recognized brand and become a global leader in the production of devices for testing control and communication software in power electronics devices, microgrids, and distribution systems through the application of the Controller-Hardware-in-the-Loop (C-HIL) methodology. Typhoon HIL solutions for testing power electronics devices are unique in the global market, as they are entirely based on proprietary technology, including numerical algorithms, hardware platform, and processor architecture, as well as a software package, which together form a unique, vertically integrated platform that has set new standards in the speed and methods of testing power electronics devices. Since the launch of its first product, Typhoon HIL has developed a base of over 16,500 registered users with more than 1,000 HIL systems across six continents.

Energoprojekt was founded in Belgrade, Serbia in 1951 by merging two state-owned design institutes, namely “Hidro-Elektroprojekt” and “Termo-Elektroprojekt”, providing design and consulting services related to hydro power and thermal power generation, respectively. Elektrozapad was founded in 2015 in Belgrade and deals with specialist works in the power industry, both in the field of design and execution of works. The services in which they specialize are: engineering and assembly of primary and secondary equipment with testing and commissioning, production and planning of electrical cabinets, construction work on facilities up to 400kV, as well as design, assembly, testing and commissioning of low voltage facilities.

“Akademska misao” d.o.o. was founded on October 1, 1999. years. It owes its name to the wonderful professor Milan Vojnović from the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Belgrade. By publishing his first book “HOW TO WRITE AND PUBLISH A SCIENTIFIC WORK” authored by prof. Dr. Zoran Popović, they have clearly decided to publish academic-level literature.
