E-Drive for a Bicycle

The theme of the competition was the drive for an electric bicycle. The system consists of a battery, a power converter, and an electric motor. Additionally, a mobile application was developed through which the rider can monitor the battery charge and speed. Our victory came from convincingly the best results in both real and laboratory conditions: efficiency of 97.8%, output power of 750 W, voltage of 400 V, and a system with a clutch.

In the finals held at Madison University, Wisconsin, our team won first place and The Grand Prize.
