H-Careers Day

On Monday, December 22, we organized the H-Careers Day event, which successfully brought together the Career Bridge segment and a panel discussion as part of our cooperation packages, with the aim of connecting students with industry representatives.

During the Career Bridge segment, companies presented themselves to students one by one, followed by open and direct communication. In parallel with the presentations, company booths were set up, giving representatives the opportunity to speak with students interested in internships and employment, as well as to answer specific questions related to career opportunities. The companies that participated are our long-standing partners: Brose, Typhoon HIL, Siemens Energy, ELEM & ELGO, Institut Mihajlo Pupin, Bosch, Siemens, Meter&Control, and Energoprojekt.

Afterwards, a panel discussion was held, divided into two thematic sections. The panel was moderated by our alumni member Todor Aleksandrović, who successfully guided the discussion and encouraged active audience participation.

The first panel discussion focused on the topic “Innovation: A Bridge Between Industry and Academia”, featuring Aleksandar Skulić, CEO of Meter&Control, and Miloš Golubović, an engineer from ELEM & ELGO. The discussion attracted significant interest from students, as it provided real-world examples that highlighted practical challenges and opportunities within the industry.

The second panel discussion addressed the topic “Sustainable Development and the Application of New Technologies in Industry”, which encouraged a deeper, more technically oriented exchange of ideas. The panelists included Željko Damjanović from the Institute Mihajlo Pupin, Ivan Marjanović from Energoprojekt, Jelena Popović from Siemens Energy, and Zoran Jovanović from Siemens.

The H-Careers Day event confirmed the importance of direct collaboration between academia and industry, offering students valuable insights into professional career paths, modern technologies, and future career opportunities.
