Our task in 2026 is the development and design of bidirectional on-board charger for electric vehicles. Bidirectional charger must provide galvanically isolated charging of electric vehicles, while also enabling energy to be fed back to the power grid when needed(V2G functionality). The key features of the charger include high power density, power efficiency, reliable control and high quality of electricity. Competition requirements are 1kW power, 2kW/l power density, plug-and-play functionality and efficiency of ≥ 92% on 1kW.
