Applications are now open for new members of the H-Bridges team!

In the coming year, we will be working on the design and implementation of a Affordable Bidirectional Onboard Charger for Electric Vehicles, as part of the prestigious international IEEE IFEC competition.

Some of the main technical requirements of the project:

• Single-phase AC input (120V/230V), output 400V DC (150–450V)
• Power: 1kW, bidirectional operation
• Efficiency >92%, power density 2kW/l
• Natural or internal cooling
• Galvanic isolation, plug-and-play testing
• Minimization of component cost (BOM)

Depending on your interests, you can join one of the three subteams:

• Hardware team (HW) – circuit design and implementation, PCB, testing
• Software team (SW) – algorithm development, control and microcontroller programming
• Marketing and Public Relations team (FR/PR) – finance, logistics, PR, design, and presentation
